How To Shorten Maternity Labor Pains with Shed Snake Skin

Yes, I'm talking about "How To Shorten Maternity Labor Pains with Shed Snake Skin". My sister just gave birth to her second baby boy. She was quite nervous because it was her first time to give birth at home. Meaning a traditional midwife or “komadrona” as it is locally known was called to assist her in her delivery. For her to give birth at the hospital was given second thoughts because of high cost of hospital bills.

Luckily, aside from devoted prayers, there are a lot of alternatives presented to make her delivery safe and successful (of course, she also did a lot of morning exercises). One of these alternatives was the use of shed snake skin soaked in homemade pure coconut oil. The coconut oil was applied to all over her tummy and back, as well as on her legs when she started feeling the labor pains. Well, unlike her first-born who made her endure 24 hours of labor pains, this time it took her less than two hours before she finally gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

How to make homemade pure coconut oil

Here's a simple way on how to make your homemade pure coconut oil:
Making virgin coconut oil is not a difficult task, if you have fresh and mature coconuts. This can save your money and give you the satisfaction of using a product, which is homemade. The following are some guidelines regarding how to make coconut oil.
  1. Take two to three coconuts and remove the husks and shells. Keep the coconut water aside.
  2. Grate the coconut meat and fill it in a net bag. Now you have to hold the bag tightly and press it with your palms, to extract the coconut milk. Dip the net bag in coconut water and press it again to extract more milk.
  3. The coconut milk extracted from the grated coconut meat has to be heated over a low flame. You have to stir the mixture continuously. The mixture becomes thicker as it boils. After some time, the oil starts separating from the mixture. The water will evaporate, leaving the oil behind. Cook for some more time, before turning off the heat.
  4. Once cool, fill the oil in a clean glass jar, which is devoid of water or moisture.

I don't know if this shed snake skin soaked in coconut oil can also help other expecting mommies out there, because different mommies have different responses to traditional herbal remedies. But for my sister, this had definitely helped her.

And here's a picture of my cute nephew, Aaron.
